Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
This policy explains how Mountain Star Payment Processing handles personal information through its sports management and payment services.
Mountain Star Payment Processing provides this service for leagues, clubs, teams, coaches, players, and families. Your program administers its registration and participation records; the platform provides the tools to manage them. A program or an external service may also have its own privacy notice.
Information collected
- Accounts and households: names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, account credentials, roles, and family relationships.
- Sports participation: player birth dates, school and grade, team assignments, registrations, eligibility information and supporting documents, waiver acknowledgments, jersey preferences, and orders, as requested by your program.
- Payments: billing details, transaction references, fees, balances, payment status, and refund records. Payment details are processed through the payment services used by your program.
- Communications and uploads: messages, attachments, images, support requests, and communication preferences you or your program provide.
- Technical information: request and usage records, device and browser information, network information, errors, and security events generated when you use the service.
Information may come from you, a parent or guardian, authorized program staff, or service providers reporting events such as payment status or message delivery.
How information is used
Information supports sign-in and account security, registration, eligibility checks, rosters, scheduling, payments, order fulfillment, program communications, customer support, troubleshooting, and program reporting. Records also help resolve disputes and investigate misuse.
Who can receive information
Authorized league and club administrators, coaches, and other program staff can access information relevant to their roles. Messages and shared content are visible to their intended recipients. Information may be provided to payment processors, hosting and storage providers, email and text-message providers, and suppliers fulfilling program orders. Authorized program reporting integrations may receive program records.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to respond to legal process, protect safety, or investigate fraud or unauthorized use. External websites and services handle information under their own policies.
Children and family information
Parents and guardians should manage registration and submission of information for young players. Player records are used to administer participation in the program. Please provide only the information requested for that purpose and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in messages or uploads.
A parent or guardian can contact their program administrator or the support contact below to ask about a child's records, request corrections or deletion, or raise concerns about information submitted without their authorization. Verification of identity and the relationship to the child may be needed before records can be released or changed.
Cookies and device storage
The service uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember preferences such as theme and navigation settings, and support the mobile experience. You can clear or restrict these through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out, reset preferences, or prevent some features from working.
Retention and security
How long records are retained depends on the type of information, your program's operations, and applicable recordkeeping needs. Participation, financial, waiver, and dispute records may need to be retained after an account is no longer active. Contact your program for the retention period that applies to a particular record and to request deletion.
The service uses access controls and other technical safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
Your choices and requests
You can update information and communication preferences where those settings are available in your account. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting your program or support. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law and the records involved. Identity verification may be required. Removing information needed for registration may affect participation or access to the service.
